You can make a difference in a child's life by working one-to-one with a student for just 2 hours per week. We provide the training and are with you each step of the way as you tutor. If you are interested in becoming a tutor, please contact us for more information.
Make a Monetary Donation
Friends of the Christian County Association for SPMD can help us fulfill our mission through charitable contributions. The Association has a proud tradition of responsible and prudent stewardship of our gifts.
Our greatest source of funding has been United Way since we became an agency in 1972. Without United Way, we would not exist. To all who contribute to United Way, we are extremely grateful. United Way simply did not have enough revenue to fund agencies as in previous years. For us, the cut was $8,000--about one-third of our budget.
While we have volunteer workers, donations of materials and facilities for our programs, our Association will find it difficult to continue current services when we have started some additional projects.
If you can make a monetary donation to our Association, your donation would help us make up our budget deficit. Any amount, no matter how small, would help. We are a 501c3 organization and your contribution is tax-deductible.
If you wish you can donate for a specific purpose, such as a scholarship for a person in need, office and school supplies, Michael Kaczor who will be coming as a consultant from NM, Association officers would welcome the opportunity to discuss our needs with you.
